Groupe australien de Sydney fondé en 1961. Ce groupe portait le nom d’une marque d’essence. Ils devinrent le groupe le plus populaire d’Australie.
Ils comprenaient Bosco Bosanac … la basse, Peter Hood … la batterie, Theo Penglis … la rythmique, et Jim Skiathitis soliste.
Ils firent un tube de Bombora, composé par Hood et Skiathis. Il fut numéro 1 pendant 8 semaines, et fut publié dans 12 pays, se vendant à 500 000 exemplaires. Il est depuis devenu un des classiques du répertoire Surf. Leur deuxième titre the Crusher atteignit la 4ème place.
Ils tournèrent au Japon et en Malaisie. Leur carrière se poursuivit jusqu’en 1965.
Ils se sont reformés en 1999 et ont enregistré un nouvel album (voir discographie).
